The Math Community of Practice is designed to support math educators in grades 6–12. The learning focus builds on strategies that emphasize the use of Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR®) as learning tools. Participants will utilize a digital interactive notebook (INB) to engage in learning, using a variety of digital tools designed to enhance rigorous instruction and student engagement through dynamic activities. Participants will engage in both synchronous and semi-synchronous learning. All strategies, digital activities, and digital tools introduced in this Community of Practice can be leveraged in face-to-face or virtual learning environments. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with colleagues throughout the school year to deepen and broaden their learning through Extended Learning Pathways, On-Demand Learning, and professional discourse.
