Leading Change for Educational Equity is designed to empower site- and district-based leaders to employ a systemic approach to college and career readiness through the implementation of AVID Schoolwide. For an optimal learning experience, attending with a team of at least 3 is highly recommended.

This strand is designed for English Language Arts teachers (grades 6–12) who are new to AVID concepts and methodologies.

This strand focuses on the writing process and writing-to-learn strategies as well as the intentional use of purposeful oral language and listening activities to enrich and expand students’ abilities to participate in academic discourse.

This strand is designed for History/Social Science teachers (grades 6–12) who are interested in incorporating rigorous instructional strategies through a scaffolded approach that can be used to increase student engage-ment, skill-building, and deepen learning in all classrooms.

Early College, CTE, & Postsecondary is designed for dual enrollment, ECHS, P-TECH, CTE, and postsecondary instructors and leaders.
